Doordat er in de nasleep van Covid-19 veel meer thuis gewerkt wordt is een nood ontstaan om dat op een comfortabele manier te kunnen doen. Tegelijk groeit de behoefte om dat werken van de rest te kunnen scheiden, niet noodzakelijk door het optrekken van muren.
Binnen één ruimte worden zones afgebakend, o.m. door het verschuiven van meubelen maar ook door te spelen met meubelstijlen en -vormen volgens hun functionaliteit. Een verschillend kleurgebruik per zone is daarbij ook handig.
Het aanpassen van onze woning/interieur aan toegenomen praktische vereisten wordt belangrijker dan het volgen van trends. Meer dan ooit zal de inrichting een afspiegeling worden van onze persoonlijkheid.
Een rustpunt creëren is belangrijk geworden, wat je het beste doet door een basis te leggen met neutrale kleuren (wit, beige, grijs en zwart) in combinatie met een vrij minimalistische inrichting. Kies dan voor enkele grote kwaliteitsmeubels.
Groentinten zitten ook weer in de lift. De referentie aan de natuur verhoogt het rustgevoel. Door de combinatie van groen met roze tinten en gouden accenten, wordt vervolgens een menselijke component toegevoegd en wordt het welzijnsgevoel versterkt.
Voor wie toch liever inspeelt op trends zijn er twee woonstijlen die 2022 gaan kenmerken: Retro enerzijds en Urban jaren ‘90 anderzijds.
Binnen de Retro stijl vallen een aantal sterke kleuren op: terra(cotta), okergeel en blauw. Deze kleuren staan symbool voor evenwicht, veiligheid en geborgenheid. Gecombineerd met zwart/wit maken ze het interieur boeiend.
De lijnen in dit interieur zijn vooral rond en zacht maar tegelijkertijd ook strak en grafisch. Dit laatste dan vooral toegepast in vloerkleden, accessoires en wanddecoratie.
Door het gebruik van notenhout, glas en velours stralen de meubels een Art Deco sfeer uit.
Het gebruik van veel glas is dus een blijver, net als de toevoeging van vintage vondsten.
De Urban jaren ’90 stijl herkennen we aan felle uitgesproken kleuren, gecombineerd met ruige materialen als beton en staal, of ook met terrazzo.
Het is de stijl van de scherpe en architectonische lijnen.
Graffiti, kunst en grafische elementen als letters, cijfers en lichtbakken voeren de boventoon.

Creating a resting point has become important, which is best done by laying a foundation with neutral colors (white, beige, gray and black) in combination with a fairly minimalistic decor. Then opt for some large quality furniture.
Green tones are also on the rise again. The reference to nature increases the feeling of peace. By combining green with shades of pink and golden accents, a human component is added and the feeling of well-being is enhanced.
For those who prefer to respond to trends, there are two living styles that will characterize 2022: Retro on the one hand and Urban '90s on the other.
